How to Submit, Edit, and Delete OJT/RTI Hours

Learn how to submit, edit, and delete your on-the-job training (OJT) and related technical instruction (RTI) hours.

Step 1: Navigate to Time Log in the Navigation Bar

Previous submissions show in dark blue; Light blue submissions indicate they have been approved by an administrator, supervisor, or mentor (approval is not required for all programs). 

Step 2:  Submit On-the-Job Training (OTJ) Hours

  • Click the date on the calendar the hours you need to submit were performed.  Use the <> icons in the top left corner to change the calendar month.
  • The LOG OJT box (below) will open.  
  • Add the number of hours performed in the appropriate competency box(es) by clicking the box and typing in the hours or clicking "hours" and using the arrows that appear to enter the hours.
  • Click Submit.

Step 3:  Submit Related Technical Instruction (RTI) Hours

  • Click the LOG RTI button in the bottom right corner to open the LOG RTI box and mini calendar.  

  • On the mini calendar, click the date the hours were performed.
  • Add the number of hours performed in the appropriate box(es) by clicking the box and typing in the hours or clicking "hours" and using the arrows that appear to enter the hours.
  • Click Submit.

Step 3: Edit or Delete OJT or RTI hours

  • On the main Time Log calendar, click the blue hour submission that you need to edit (not all apprentices have this authorization).  Submissions that have been approved (light blue) cannot be edited or deleted by apprentices.

  • In the Edit Submission box that appears, change the hours by clicking on the previous hours and editing them or clicking "hours" and using the arrows that appear to increase or decrease the hours.  Click Submit.  
  • To delete a previous submission in full, click the red delete icon on the Edit Submission box.  You can then follow the Steps above to resubmit hours for that date if necessary.
