How to Enter RTI Grades for Participants

Learn how to enter bulk, batch, or individual standard grades for participants.

User Types: Regulators, Sponsors, Employer Administrators, Supervisors, Mentors, & Providers

Notes:

Enter Individual Grades

Step 1: Navigate to a Participant's profile details page and Click their Grades sub-tab.

Step 2: Click the NEW+ button to open the New Grade box and enter the grade details and click SUBMIT.

  • Note: The grades will then appear on the apprentice's profile details - grades sub-tab.  See Viewing Apprentice Grades below.

Import Individual Grades

Step 1: Navigate to an individual participant's profile details page and click their Grades tab.

Step 2: Click IMPORT to download a csv template on which you can enter all the assignments and grades you need to add for that participant. 

Step 3: Enter all the grades on the csv, follow the batch upload grades instructions to upload it, and hit DONE.


Actions - Upload Grades (Regulators & Sponsors only at this time)

This feature will allow you to submit multiple grades for multiple selected participants at the same time.  It does NOT allow you to associate grades with a specific RTI course, unless you set up your Occupation-RTI to support Course IDs (see Overview: RTI Tracking & Grades).  However, you can  include something in the Grade title that will make the course it is associated with clear.   

Step 1 - Navigate to Participants and then any Participant List

Step 2 - Select the participants for whom you need to enter grades by clicking the white box next to their name.  The blue ACTIONS button will appear once you begin to select names.

  • Note: You can select all the participants on that page by clicking the white box next to "Name" at the top of the list. 
  • You can also add more participants to that page by using the "25=" button in the top right-hand corner of the page.  

Step 3 - Click the ACTIONS button and then select "Upload Grades"

Step 4 - Download the CSV template provided and follow the instructions in the Batch Upload Grades box.  

  • The CSV template will provide you an example and will allow you to input the following information (1 row for each assignment):
    • participant email address,
    • title of the assignment,
    • type of assignment,
    • score received,
    • score possible,
    • outcome (pass, fail)
    • attempt # (optional) 
    • date grade received or submitted,
    • comments regarding the grade (optional),
    • & course ID (This is only functional if your Occupation-RTI is setup to mark RTI courses as complete based on a final grade being entered. Otherwise, anything entered in this field will be ignored). 

Viewing & Editing Grades (2 options)

1. For those with access, Click the Grades page on the blue navigation bar.

  • To delete a grade, click the white box next to it and the ACTIONS button that will appear at the top of the page & Click Delete.
  • To edit a grade, click the blue link for any grade.  This will take you the participant's profile details page and their Grades tab.  See #2 for further instructions.  

2. For those without access to Grades on the blue navigation bar, navigate to a participant's Profile Details - Grades tab. 

  • Click on any Grade entry listed to view its details, update them, or delete the grade entry in full.
