How to Batch Edit Participant Account Data with ACTIONS

Instead of editing participant data one by one, you can save time with our ACTIONS Batch Edit tool that allows you to edit data for multiple participants simultaneously.

User Types: Regulators, Sponsors, Employer Administrators

Step 1. Navigate to Participants, Select the Participant type, and Select the Participants to be edited by Clicking the box to the left of their name(s). 

  • Once you select the names, the blue ACTIONS button will appear above the list.
  • Employer Administrators may need to select Apprentices - Overview the reach their list of participants.

Step 2. Click ACTIONS and select BATCH EDIT from the dropdown menu.

  • Note:  The ACTIONS drop down might vary depending on your user type, but Batch Edit should always be available.

Step 3. Select the data field to edit by clicking the arrow key in the "Field" box and clicking the field, and hit Continue.

  • Note: You can only edit one data field at a time, and all selected participants will need to be given the same value for that field.  

Step 4. Enter the value to appear in the Participants' records and click SUBMIT. 

  • Note: The value you enter will appear in the profile details - general tab for all the participants you initially selected.

Step 5. To confirm the entry, click into any individual participant's profile details - general tab.  

  • Note:  If you've made an error, you can always edit the participant's individual record by clicking the edit/pencil icon in the top, right corner of their General Profile Details tab.
