TalentLMS Integration Guide

Learn how to setup an integration with TalentLMS.

Our TalentLMS integration allows you to:

1. Create TalentLMS accounts for new participants from ApprentiScope
2. Enroll participants in TalentLMS courses from ApprentiScope
3. Sync final grades between TalentLMS and ApprentiScope upon completion

1. Configure LMS Integration in ApprentiScope

1. 1. Login to your ApprentiScope account
   2. Visit your Settings & Permissions page
   3. Select the Integrations tab
   4. Select TalentLMS from the System dropdown
   5. Enter your TalentLMS URL under the Domain field
      1. This is the URL you use to login to TalentLMS
      2. Ex: apprentiscope.talentlms.com

1. 1. Enter your TalentLMS API Key under the Key field
      
      1. You can find your API key here
         
         

2. Map ApprentiScope Courses to TalentLMS Courses

1. 1. In ApprentiScope, select an occupation to map and visit it's Occupation Details page
   2. Click the Related Instruction tab and select a course
   3. Locate the Course ID field below Description, and enter the TalentLMS Course ID.
      1. Course IDs can be found in TalentLMS by visiting the Courses page, then selecting a course. In the URL, the number after courses/ is your Course ID. In the example below, Course ID would be 317:
         
         https://apprentiscope.talentlms.com/plus/courses/317
   4. Repeat this for all courses and occupations you'd like to map to ApprentiScope

4. Sync Existing ApprentiScope Users with TalentLMS 

1. 1. Visit your Apprentice Overview page
   2. Select the apprentices you'd like to sync with TalentLMS
   3. Select Actions, then click Register in TalentLMS
      
      1. If there is an existing user in TalentLMS under this email, it will simply link the accounts, whereas if there is not a matching user, we will create a new user and link the two accounts.
